Key Conditions of Entry & Festival Rules

Please read the official tournament conditions from the 36th SIVTTF entry schedule before submitting your registration:

Age & Eligibility

Ages 30+ years on or before 31 Dec 2026. All participants must be a financial member of a masters or district tennis club.

Team Balancing & Ties

Teams consist of 4 women & 4 men selected by the committee for equal fun. 9 ties total (3 each day) across all 3 days.

40 Men & 40 Women Cap

The first 40 men's and 40 women's entries received with payment are accepted. Subsequent entries go to the waiting list.

Match Scoring

Each match is 1 full set. 1 deuce + advantage, then sudden-death deciding point (receiver calls side; mixed is man-to-man, woman-to-woman).

Deadlines & Withdrawals

Entries close 18 Nov 2026. Withdrawals up to 1 Dec incur a $5 admin fee; refunds thereafter are at Committee discretion.

Social Dinner & Quiz

Tuesday 29 Dec at Nobel 600 (231 Burnett St). Drinks 7:00 PM, 2-course buffet 7:30 PM + Team Quiz. Partners welcome!

Notice of Annual General Meeting (AGM) & Reporting Times

Sunday 27 Dec: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM Meet & Greet drinks and team reveals at Ashburton Tennis Centre.
Day 1 (Mon 28 Dec): 8:30 AM AGM, Team & Captains Photos, followed by Round 1 play. *(Notices of motion due to Secretary by 4:00 PM 30 Nov 2026)*.
Day 2 (Tue 29 Dec): 9:00 AM Play. 7:00 PM Dinner & Quiz at Nobel 600 (231 Burnett St).
Day 3 (Wed 30 Dec): 9:00 AM Play. Prizegiving & Medals / Wooden Spoon presentation at conclusion.

*Travel tip: Consider booking your accommodation for a fourth night as tournament play and festivities may finish late on Day 3.*
